Session Snap — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

Session Snap is a browser extension that saves your open browser tabs as named sessions so you can reopen them later. Your privacy matters, and this policy explains exactly what the extension does — and does not do — with your information.

In short: Session Snap does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no external servers. Your saved sessions stay on your own device.

Information we collect

None. Session Snap does not collect or transmit any personal or sensitive information, browsing history, page content, or usage analytics.

Information stored on your device

Session Snap saves your data locally using the browser's storage.local API so your sessions are there when you come back. This includes:

This data never leaves your device, is not sent to us or anyone else, and is removed when you uninstall the extension. You can rename or delete individual sessions, remove single tabs, or clear everything at any time from the extension.

Permissions and why they are used

Third parties

Session Snap uses no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or external services, and includes no remote code.

Uninstall feedback

When you uninstall Session Snap, your browser may open a short, optional feedback form so you can tell us why. Filling it out is entirely voluntary — you can simply close the tab — and any response you choose to submit is handled by that form's provider (Google Forms), not by the extension.

Children's privacy

Session Snap is a general-purpose utility, is not directed at children, and collects no data from anyone.
